What is Redatam?
Redatam is a technology solution developed by CELADE - Population Division of ECLAC to streamline the processing, analysis, and dissemination of microdata from censuses, surveys, and administrative records. It is specifically designed to handle hierarchical geographic structures, generating statistical information for any geographic area defined in the database — from the national level down to the city block.
Widely used across Latin America and the Caribbean, it strengthens institutions in democratizing access to information while always preserving data confidentiality and integrity.

RedatamX: a new era in statistical microdata processing
The new generation of REDATAM is distributed free of charge and supports interconnection through REST and R APIs, enabling results to be integrated automatically into other applications via standard formats such as JSON.
