In 2026, CELADE–Population Division of ECLAC will run two synchronous virtual workshops on census microdata processing with RedatamX and the geographic representation of indicators with QGIS, using public microdata sets from countries in the region such as Ecuador 2022 and Argentina 2022.
The overall aim is to harness the potential of population and housing censuses to generate indicators that support informed decision-making in key areas of planning and development. The first workshop runs from 21 to 29 April 2026 and the second from 2 to 10 June 2026.
