CELADE rolled out the ODISEA portal with support from GIZ to analyse internal population movement using the most recent census microdata from Costa Rica, Guatemala and Peru.
As part of the project "Inclusive, sustainable and smart cities within the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Latin America and the Caribbean", CELADE–Population Division of ECLAC rolled out the ODISEA portal with support from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
In its first version, the portal makes it possible to analyse internal population movement — migration, mobility and residential segregation — through REDATAM-based processing of microdata from the most recent population and housing censuses of Costa Rica, Guatemala and Peru.
