CELADE–Population Division of ECLAC has been developing a new generation of the REDATAM family, named RedatamX, which is being completely rewritten.
Adopting an engine written in standard C++ and incorporating modern Qt-based visual technology makes the new version cross-platform — hence the X in its name — so it can run natively on Windows, Linux or macOS, meeting one of the requirements of an ever-growing user community.
